About Us

More than 43 years ago, Amor Global originated as a non-profit organization doing outreaches in Mexico and has since expanded to South Africa, Europe and Moldova and other countries. Amor South Africa has been building homes for the underprivileged from Orange Farm and now we are mainly building homes in Delmas.

What came out of that was school learners looking for sanitary towels. In 2019 we distributed reusable sanitary towels to 25 school learners who each received 6 pads. These lasted them throughout the lock downs of the pandemic. In 2021, we distributed normal commercial sanitary towels but the kids didn’t like them as much because of the inconsistency of donations. We then started making reusable sanitary towels. We have partnered with Women of Strength to make sure this project is a success and that we can distribute to needy children as and when required.

Our mission is to serve the poorest of the poor in our communities. The main driving forces for us is the concept of Ubuntu. We look after the elderly, child headed homes and the really desperate.

We want to be the beacon of hope for the hopeless and helpless in our communities. Where no child goes to school without shoes, where an elderly person has a decent roof over their head, where the child head has food for the young ones at home.

We believe that the main solution to world hunger and poverty is working together with community leaders, that will point us to the right direction and working together with corporate South Africa, we can eradicate hunger and lack of basic needs in homes.
