Our Story

Why Delmas?

The people of Delmas have the land, either they bought it from Municipality or inherited. During Covid when a lot of people were not working or working from home, we started food distribution in Kempton Park, Springs, Tembisa and Soweto. Through this work, we realised that school children are also looking for further assistance in school uniform and food packs to take home.

About Us

More than 43 years ago, Amor Global originated as a non-profit organization doing outreaches in Mexico and has since expanded to South Africa, Europe and Moldova and other countries. Amor South Africa has been building homes for the underprivileged from Orange Farm and now we are mainly building homes in Delmas.

Amor Community of Hope is a Non- Profit Organisation, relying entirely on donations and volunteers in order to do our work effectively and efficiently. At Amor Community of Hope we partner with local leaders that live in the communities where we build. Our Mission is to bring people together to manifest Jesus.

Home Building

Sponsoring houses, including the paintwork.

Delivering food parcels to those in need.

Supporting the kids throughout the community.

Corporate South Africa has been very generous in making sure we meet our mandate. They don’t only give us financial assistance, we also get volunteers to be part of the home build every year. Companies can join us as once off donors or monthly contributors and volunteer their staff as part of team building.
